Does anyone know how to get the motor out of this maze of metal? it's a 1956 Hudson Hornet and I can't maneuver the motor out.

That motor has to come out the bottom. Unhook the drive line and the exhaust system and remove the cross members and lower complete engine as a unit. It was done this way as it is the only way you could adjust the valves. You had to drain the radiator, remove the hoses and fuel lines and throttle linkage. We had to lower just enough to get to the valve covers. Don't let anyone tell you different. This has to be done on a lift and a motor jack stand. Walt.
