'37 Terraplane Truck on eBay
Was just checking out eBay, and lo and behold we now have a 1937 (looks like a '38 grill to me) Terraplane listed. See the URL below:

They really don't give many mechanical details, but at least the pictures that are included in the listing look pretty good.

From what I can tell, there was a spat between the last potential buyer and the seller. Looks like it had sold for 15K and there was some mechanical issues with brakes...
You can tell by the sellers description that it is vague and you get what you get. Seller sounds a bit crude.0 -
Looks like a good buy at 15K. I could handle a few problems at that price--unless it had a 225 Dodge slant six in it?0

I dunno.... That color doesn't look "factory" to me. And, a truck would never have had fender skirts. Not pure enough for my tastes. (LOL!)0

Looks like someone modified the dash with a stepdown cluster. Looks pretty good in there.0

This is a very good looking truck. I think the fender skirts make the truck look longer, and the stepdown instrument cluster gives it a classie appearance. It is one of my favorite Hudson features. It should fetch a good price.
That brody knob on the steering wheel, reminded me of a story about my grandfather.
Picture my grandfather with a big belly, and short arms. He climbs into his teenage sons car to go to town with that knob sticking out from the wheel. Well, when he made a turn, the brody knob got cot in his shirt and almost wrecked his sons, first car.
Grandpa made sure the knob, never returned to that steering wheel.
Have a good day. Lee0 -
38 Grill, the SN?? is not registered with the club, so can't help ya there. 51/52 instrument pod, gereric V8, automatic. Looks like a fairly good job.
Might be popular with the biker/rat rod crowd. You're safe, I'm not biddin on it.0 -
I looked over the truck with a fine eye and then filled in the form so I could be the winner and take it and the bike home last year at the Harley Dealership. I was quite impressed. I stopped in at the Bar B Que across the parking lot and had lunch (I recommend it) and went back and looked at the truck again--hunger might have interfered with my judgement because I was not as impressed. It is an eye catcher but far from original as the new photo's show. This would be a great tour car and a lot of fun to have in your collection. Alas, I did not win it--so when it comes to cash, I'll spend it elsewhere....0
