Nice parts! The kind of rare stuff that I think everyone is looking for? Just a question here: "I thought that the 36 radio came two ways, one that said Hudson on it and one that said Terraplane on it? I think the one you have was also used on the 36 Hudsons?
  • Brownie,

As far as I know, there were never any radios made, at least in 1936, that had the Terraplane logo on them. Maybe some of the other 36 guy's have seen one and will chime in.

Of course, that isn't the radio proper, it's just the dial and the switches. This thing attaches to the radio, which is hung on the firewall with a couple of 18 inch flexible cables.

The '36 T Banjo wheel is a steal, one in worse shape went for over $900 a couple of weeks ago and it will cost about $600 to restore it. This one has a spare wheel and the horn button. I already have one to restore. I hope that someone grabs it!

Along the same lines here. I changed out the rear end in my 1936 Hudson 8 and went with one that will allow me to drive a bit faster (not sure why I did that but oh well). I still have the old rearend laying around if anyone would like to have it. It is a free-bee.....

I was the one who bought the one for $900.00 it was for a 1936 Hudson and the one that just sold was for a Terraplane they are different wheels I did not think I would find one it took three years but it was worth it because I also found a NOS radio a NOS hood oranment and a NOS clock for my 36 Hudson all in the same week that is what makes this the best club around .
