    I received all my back ordered rubber last month. Give them a call. Keep trying until you reach them directly.
  • I'm so frustrated..... I ordered 373.00 worth of rubber June of last year from Kgap and am still waiting for some pieces. I finally got in touch with them about a month ago and was told the missing parts were in stock, but thats as far as it's gotten. Now no answer to emails ect. I know a lot of people are grateful for whatver they get whenever they get it, but I think it's a shame that its acceptable behavior when dealing with Kgap. It only takes a minute to answer an email, especially when you've had somones money for almost a year. To say the parts are in stock and not send them or even bother to answer additional emails is a double whammy. I've owned my own business for 20 years and do a lot of mail order. I would never consider treating customers this way, but I guess I'm just "old fashioned" and believe in honoring my word and doing business in a timely manner. I read Kgaps angry message posted in December threatening to just quit the whole thing because some people were upset with them, and saw many responses from people almost begging her not to quit. I too work very long hours, etc., etc., etc. But to keep a customers money and just ignore them is nothing short of theft, plain and simple. Justify it however you want, but I for one wish I hadn't placed an order for the parts and should have tried to patch-up and live with my old weather seals. Good luck to you with your door gaskets. I wonder how long, if ever, it'll take to recieve my parts or the refund I requested if the parts were not available. Aaron Amundsen

    Bob,

    Don't know if this will interest you, but maybe it's an alternate route you could take. I'm not really sure what your needs are at the moment, but the original thread was titled 'Door Gaskets', so if that's the case there are a couple of Trim Lok products that I'm just finishing up installing on my '49 sedan that are working out great. Credit goes to R. Maas (and A. Saffrahn) for the tip but these bulb seals work better than the stuff from K-Gap, because they're much softer and more pliable. They seal better, they're easier to install and even a lot less expensive. The best part is you don't have to slam the doors as hard. Course you've got a two door, which isn't as much of an issue as the lighter, smaller four doors on my car, but anyway it's something to think about.

    Anyway, I got them from McMaster-Carr here;

    http://www.mcmaster.com/#93085k89/=6fy9xo

    For door opening on body, and along bottom of doors; P/N 93085K89 (hollow D-shape, with a flap)

    For front edges of doors; P/N 93085K13 (D-shape with a round hole)

    These are both quality EPDM extrusions, with an automotive grade 3M adhesive back. Easy to reposition when installing, and after the 72 hour cure time they hold as good as anything.

    Good Luck,

    Doug
