1954 Rear window rubber gasket

Is there anyway someone could come up with the side view of what the rear window rubber seal/gasket looks like on a 54 cpe..
I don't want to get KGap involved in this, as we have paid our money, but 6 months later nothing. I have to go in a different direction as my patience has run out. I am looking at Metro Rubber, and Steel Rubber products. All I need is the headliner installed and the back side panels with ashtrays, and window cranks. The installer will not guarantee his work without a new rubber gasket, and I can see why.
Thanx,
Dave

FYI
I cant help with a picture but there is another Company that may have Rubber available... Fairchild Industries www.fairchildind.com.
I know a few people now that have purchased rubber for their Hudson's from Fairchild, thru JC Whitney, and others because the regular Hudson Supplier was out of stock, or unavailable.
However, If you have fairly good rubber there are modern sealants available to bond glass tightly at Auto Paint Supply Stores that surely would prevent leak brecause I have reused decent old rubber with the adhesive on a couple 'drivers' and have had no leaks, However, if a show car I understand new is the way to go for appearance...0 -
There is a supplier in eastern MA who has these. He advertises in Hemmings:
HUDSON weatherseals, mats, window kits, interiors, more. Pat Walsh, 781-246-3266, MA; www.patwalshrestorations.com**35-YR**... more... Location:
Wakefield, MA
Advertiser Since 1975
I originally bought some stuff from him including rear window rubber but when I saw his prices I fainted, then returned the stuff. He's got it, but be prepared to pay about $270 for it! :eek:0 -
Thanx guys, a great help.
I think I'll use Pat Walsh as a last resort.
Stateline I sent you a PM0
