When was the last time you were at a Hudson meet when all the step-downs in attendance were coupes, and convertibles?? You should have been in St. Marys, Ohio today, and you would have seen this rare event in person! The weather was fantastic, the Hudson stories were flying, and the food was great at the Lost in the 50's Diner for the Northern Indiana/Ohio Chapter's first meet of the season. Of the 6 step-downs that came out, 4 were coupes, and two convertibles. The prewar cars were very well represented with a '35 Hudson 8, '36 Terraplane, & '37 Hudson 8. Here are some pix to share.;)

A very nice meet! New HETers. to meet, and new cars to see.

Essex4 was real suprised when I tossed him the keys to the 37H8.

He got to drive a working"electric hand" for the first time!

Also lots of cool stuff in the diner, the orginal red jacket worn by hoosier , James Dean in Rebel without a Cause.
