    According to the page 3 story by Harry Kraus in the Summer 2000 "Hudson Triangle" (inserted in the July/August 2000 issue of the WTN) the 1/16 scale "Demonstrator type" (the half clear model) and the "full color" model '48-'49 stepdowns where manufactured for Hudson by the Detroit Plastic Molding Co. Not by Hudson itself.



    Hope you get a million bucks for your model on eBay!

    Could be. The original article titled "Assembly Line for Baby Hudsons" states " Hudson's making 20,000 for dealer displays". Maybe the article should have said "Hudson's having 20,000 made, etc".
