Will have the lower 1/4, door and fender trim ready to ship Mon or Tuesday next week for 2 door body styles. Will have 4 door applications ready to ship in about 2 -3 weeks.

Let me know what your needs are. I will be at the central regional and national with a couple of extra sets to sell also.

These are also available individually for the 1/4, door and front fender.

Will work on all models from 1948 thru 1953.

these again will come in stainless but can be sanded and painted the color of your car, which was seen from 1951 thru 1953.

For orders call me at 309-838-5551

Thanks Russ Maas

    Russ,

Are these correct profile shape for 1950 C6?

    Thanks,

    Ivan-

1950 C's was the only year for the stainless trim w/ the eyebrow shape. I believe what Russ is making is the smooth, semi-circle profile.
  • I just wanted to let you all know that I received my trim from Russell today and it looks great! I will post pics when I get it installled.

The trim looks and fits great. I didn't paint it body color, I left it stainess:

Here is an interesting side note to your above statement: My Grandfather ordered the 1st 1951 Commodore 6 from my Father in October 1950. When the car came in, Grandfather refused the car because of the "cheep" molding on the lower part of the body - after all, didn't the '50 Commodore Demo he tried out before ordering the '51 have the stainless steel trim. Luckily , my Dad had the necessary stainless trim in stock to satisfy Grandpa, and the moldings were changed - sale saved!

Very Nice... it looks much better polished, not painted.
