This is an excellent blog (about all sorts of antique and special interest cars) and a lot of fun to read if you're a read Car Guy. A DeSoto enthusiast friend of mine down here in Virginia, first called it to my attention. (Sadly, the friend died suddenly last summer, at the age of 56, which was a tragedy for his family and everyone who knew him.)
As to the '57 under the carport, take a good look around the edges of the '57. I think possilby it's been Photoshopped into the carport photo, for I see a photo of it elsewhere on the website, sitting up to its rims in dirt, in a junkyard.0
