Hello Brian, Hudson stuff is hard to find at most swap meets. I sell at Pomona Swap meet, ones and a while some of the Hudson members have found some stuff. Come by at my swap space and rest your feet, have a cold one with me, Road 14, spaces 46 & 47. Hope to see you! VicTor0

Hi Brian, have been to Pomona a few times now and its the usual story you could build a whole car out of parts if you wanted a 55/6/7 Chevy or a Mustang, ditto for VW and Porshe. A few years ago I was looking for Cadillac stuff before I got the Hudson but after hours of walking in the heat turned up empty handed. I don't like your chances but part of the fun is trying right and you just might get lucky. Happy hunting. Mike.0

Judging from the initial comments, the Pomona Swap Meet is much like the antique and performance car shows here in the Chicago area. Little to nothing in the way of Hudson parts. A few years ago I attended a large swap meet in Ft Worth, TX. The only thing Hudson I could find was a page removed from a Look or Life Magazine of a 1950 Hudson ad.0

In the early 90s Japanese and European car nuts cruised Pomona Swap looking for cars to purchase and ship home.
During one foray to the Swap my buddy Bob took three Caddy converts and his bright red 1951 Hornet Sedan to display. The Hudson was to draw in these buyers and not part of the planned sales. Just after setting up our tent and arranging the cars.. a fellow who was obviously representing a Japanese buyer approached and asked what the price was for the Hudson. Not for Sale was the reply. This went on most of the day with good attention paid to the Caddys, but more to the Hudson. All through the day the original Japanese buyer passed by our tent.
Near the end of the meet the same representative came by and asked, if we buy all the Caddys will you sell the Hudson? What would be the price? A very high and at the time ridiculous price was placed on the Hudson and the original pricing for the Caddys stood. The representative said, can we pay in cash! Can we call for the cars tomorrow? All the cars went to Japan.
Yes there are few Hudson parts and generally no Hudson cars. But this and every other time we brought a Hudson that year, it sold and for BIG BUCKS.
Good Luck at the swap.0
