hudson serial numbers

I'm looking to purchase a super wasp that has the serial number 202978. model 5C. What do the numbers tell ?

    the 5 denotes it as being a Super Wasp the C as being a'53

    From the 1948-1954 Monthly Model Year Production Data sheet in my General Information Handbook for Hudson Built Automobiles serial number 202978 was built in early November 1952. Serial numbers ran 202917 thru 208037.



    There were a total of 17,792 Wasps built in 1953 - both 4C Wasp Deluxe and 5C Wasp Super.
