Hi, up for auction is something you sure don't see everyday!! Here we have a all original number's matching 1954 Hudson Hornet Special Brougham!! This is a original paint, all original interior with only 57,297 original miles logged on this Hudson. Equipped with the 308 Big Six 145 Horse Power with Twin-H Power. This particular Hudson Hornet Special was equipped with the Twin-H set up employing a special manifold and dual carb set up with a exhaust header with dual exhaust exiting to the rear of the car. The car has never been in a accident what so ever. Original tu-tone paint yellow body with original paint black top. This is the Hudson Hornet Special Brougham. In the interior all windows roll up and down, including the rear windows as seen in the pictures. The seats front and rear as well as the door panels are ALL original, nothing has been altered or modified, the Hudson, even after all these years still has the original radio!! I had the pleasure to here this Hudson fire up about a year ago, man was it impressive sounding, with a very distinctive Twin-H Power rumble. The gas tank has been boiled out, acid washed, and Poly Coated. The floorboards are 100% solid as is the trunk, as well as spare tire well. The undercarriage is also equally sound. I have taken over 125 pictures of the Hudson, so, if there is a picture you would like to see a specific picture of the Hudson, please ask. Not sure if white wall tires are original, but they still have quite a bit of tread left on them. All wheels, hubcaps and beauty rings are in great condition and again, all original...including the spare tire. I have ALL the trim, so no worries there, everything is present and accounted for, nothing is missing!! It is said that the "Step-Down" Hudsons made everyone else feel "Stepped-On" With the sale of this Hudson I have the original sales contract agreement dated June 15th 1953 sold by Trinidad Hudson, Inc. I also have every registration slip dating back to 1955. And one of the coolest things that comes with the Hornet is the "Time Slips" from the local race track here in Northern California. The 1/4 mile racetrack was called Fremont Drag Strip in Fremont California. The timeslips of the 'ol Hudson was 19 seconds @ 69.17 miles per hour, not bad for the time. California plates and California title in hand. The Hudson is clean solid and original thru-out, this Hudson Hornet is an amazing example of a time capsule of what was. The documentation on this car is absolutely wonderful.
