steering for a 27

Here,s 1 for all you guys with the real early stuff, a 27 sedan Essex, when it is driving along, the front wheels wobble like you have been drinking for 8 hours straight, all the wheels are good, adjusted the steering box as there was sideways slop where the drop arm comes out,

    Check your camber. I needed to loosen the front U bolts & retighten using a washer as a spacer at the rear of the beam axle. Cured the problem for me.

    I got a couple of wedges from a wheel alignment place and put under mine some time ago with good success like David got - curious though, why would this "suddenly" happen. Has the car not been on many trips prior without this problem???

    We were on a run for the Auckland HET and there was a 27 sedan, I think it was the sedan with the name plate old Reliable, ironic huh,:rolleyes:

    Iam not sure what the guys name was but was at the 100 anniversary in Cambridge, David if you contacted Darrin Nelson

    021-748282 he will tell you who it was, Iam useless on names of all the members
