If it were listed as "drive anywhere," "good tires," "no rust" and "can be restored or drive as it is." Then I would think twice about the price. A few weeks ago was in Montana and looked at such a car 1937 Sedan with all the options and driven some 300 miles to the meet. I might consider the price with those conditions but I doubt it would bring much over 5 or 6 K on an eBay auction.....0

Wow that 1937 is super clean ... Yeah I agree with you. I was thinking it was a $3 to $4k car. I was going to give him an offer but I knew that this price was not ideal.0

Seller would be lucky if he got an offer for 5K. No one would be dumb enough to pay 15K.0

Yeah the guy is dreaming.. I guess he has a bunch of other cars too.

I will have to admit that his prices on the other cars he has seem quite reasonable (well, a few seemed high) and well within market values. I am not sure why he has this Hudson priced so high?0 -
Yes, the guy is dreaming. This is basically an unrestored car. You would have to put $15 - $20K into it once you got it. I would offer him $2,500.0

That's the price I had on my 2-door Brougham, and it's a restored car! He's smoking serious Barrett-Jackson crack if he thinks that four-door is worth even a fourth of that!0

A short time ago someone in Colorado showed a 36 coupe that he couldn't get 16000 and it was stunning. Pre war cars on the whole, are flat in sales( pretty much like anything) and Hudson cars have not been able to buck that trend.0

This seller is an elderly man who some how thinks his cars are a gold mine. He advertises as a collector, but really he is a dealer without a California license. He seems to be a nice guy but I was unable to deal with him on some of his cars. He will represent them with low mileage even though the odometer has tirned over at least once. His '36 Terraplane needs a complete restoration. A person could buy a restored one for a lot less than he is asking. As always, buyer beware.0
