Been looking for a local teardrop and found this one about 15 minutes from me. Had to do alot of polishing (lot of trial and error, next time I'll use a product called NUVITE)and repainted the black trim. Waiting on a new foam pad for the interior. I went to Sears today to buy curtains for the windows (all my girlfriends demand them- LOL) and found a set of "CARS" character print and also found a matching "CARS" quilt for the bed. I'll post pic's of the interior and the rear galley when the foam arrives in the next day or so.
Just put carpet set from Frey's in the 52 Sedan and will be getting a new headliner, then off to Twin-H ranch for them to install a restored Twin-H unit I have. Then car and trailer will be ready for sale as a package or perhaps seperately. I may decide keep the trailer for use with one of my other Hudsons. I'm keeping my eye out for another local vintage teardrop to buy! The hitch I bought from Glen fit perfect. Simply bolts to the rear bumper step.0 -
Very nice rig! I have been eyeballing some of the San Diego area Tear Drops ... and have come to the conclusion that they are out of my price range. Your rig is a super nice and goes well with the new Hornet sedan. You should take a Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead run before selling.0

It looks great. Love the tear-drop (I like the old ones better than the new ones) it looks like it should be behind a Hudson Step-down. How about a close up of the trailer hitch when you post the additional photos of the trailer. I saw it before Glen mailed it out to you--would like to see how it looks installed....0
