There are a couple of NOS clocks on Ebay right now, though both have an awfully large starting bid. They're advertised as '52 or '53 but they look like the '48-'50 style to me. Here's the cheaper of the two: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-1953-53-HUDSON-CLOCK-/330432112893?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cef49e8fd

  • Jon that actually is the 52-3 style. But I bet you can tell the difference between a 36 and a 37 terraplane clock and we can't . LOL.

    Lance, isn't that '52-'53 NON-Hornet? I don't see the marbling in it, which I thought was '52-only?
  • Russell, Actually, there were plenty of 52's that had non marbeling . It's one of those weird things Hudson did for one year. In 53 it was back to basics and no marbeling. Hey we're talking Hudson here sometimes things weren't always too clear as to why. You know how it is. That clock Jon posted looks as if it still has numerals and hands that glow.

My 52 Hornet Sedan had the marbling on all of the gages (I have heard it called "Mother of Pearl"). Perhaps marbling was "high-end?"
