The picture attached to this post was taken in 1974 in Bellevue, Nebraska. I previously owned the pictured 1954 Hornet Sedan and would like to locate the car for possible repurchase. I failed to keep any serial number information so I must describe the car from memory.

I restored the car in 1973. The car pain t was originally surf green single tone and it was repainted a non Hudson color which was a turquoise green. The under hood and doors were not re-painted and remained the original color. The passenger rocker was replaced with a rocker fashioned at a local metal shop and the rear passenger door was replaced with one that was originally red. The interior surfaces of the door were red when it was sold. The engine was rebuilt and had a 52 model year twin H installed. The transmission was originally a Borg Warner unit and it was replaced with a 53 Hornet Hydramatic. The interior was original green on green broad cloth and in very nice condition. The carpet was replaced with green loop pile carpet purchased from JC Whitney and an Acme replacement headliner was installed. All the glass was original soft ray tinted including windshield.

I sold the car to Spencer Blake of Amarillo Texas. At the time Spencer told me it would be resold to a friend. I have been in contact with that friend and Spencer’s son. The car was not purchased by the friend and neither the son or friend knows who ultimately purchased the car.

Thanks for all help.:)
