Wonder what that U-shaped clip is, where the battery sits? I don't think mine has one but, then, it may have fallen off in the intervening years...0 -

OOPS!
Don't want to mislead anyone. I sent the two rusted out ones to Victor Yordy at the Metal Works and had him make it up based on the scrapped ones. I don't have a louver press so I could not do the louvers. I could make the rest of it as most of that can be done on a brake machine once the pattern is cut out. I suggested he make the whole louverd panel part, (he didn't on this one) as that is a panel by itself that is spot welded to the inner fender and battery box and anyone with a drill and small welder could do that part of it once they have one in hand.0
