Marvel Carb. refurbishing

A few months back a Marvel V carb was sold on EBAY for about $950. I thought it was sold by Dale Cooper but he says "no". Does anyone out there remember who sold that carb 'cuz I'm looking for some help refurbishing mine.

Can't help you on who sold the carb, but of course even if I knew, there's no guarantee that the person selling it could help you refurbish yours.

I pickup up a complete 29 Marvel, manifold, air cleaner a heat tube a few months back for $400.00 for my 29 Sedan.

I have yet to proceed with rebuild until I get the engine cleaned out and fluids changed and running with the current down draft carter modification..

You can likely get rebuild parts from a place called The Carburetor Shop www.thecarburetorshop.com

He is extremely knowledgable his kits are very high quality and often conatin parts many so called kits leave out. He gets super busy so be prepared to rebuild your own or get in a very long line for his services.
