It wasn't used on Hudsons. I have a 1929 to around 1939. There is a Model AC listed for 1933-1934 Continental Beacon. Also listed are models DN, DO, ED, T and U (last two are listed as "early) and were used on 1934-35 Buicks.

So a Model A carburetor would probably be, it seems to me, pre-1929.

That's the best I can do for you.

Jogging the memory here, but I thought those were used on '20's Nashes, amongst others.
  • Thanks all for your resonses. There is a Marvel model "A" carb up for auction on E-Bay. I was just wondering of I could use it on my '27 Hudson Super Six. Does anyone know which carb was used on the '27 Hudson Super Six?

    thanks

1927 Carburetor was Marvel B-10-661 - I have a booklet on my Hudson on-line web site for this carb. Go to:

http://hetclub.org/burr - scroll down to the bottom and click on "Manuals" - scroll down to 1927-1928 Hudson Mar......... (hold your mouse pointer over the link and the full link should appear on the bottom of your screen). The full link should be - 1927-1928_hudson_marvel_carburetor_booklet___b__.pdf
