I spoke to the man selling the car. He says it is a four door Commodore, but is not certain on the year and the top half of the engine is missing. He also said he has had at least 10 offers from people who want it for a demolition derby

Assuming it IS a Hudson what maniac would use one in a demo derby?!
  • He said it has the badges on the car to identify it as a Hudson Comodore and it was his granddaughter who posted the ad, hence the '60 car line.

We all know hudsons are solid, imagine that in a demo derby.
  • Question of the day... why do people post cars for sale without pics on Craig's List and other bulletin boards?

    Just curious... LOL

I recieved the impression that he was not computer literate and that his granddaughter did him a favor by throwing up the one line ad.

I know what you mean though.

Went to view Commodore in Pine City Mn. As I expected it's a rust bucket !! Typical for a MN car. No motor. inside shot. Rust everywhere. Car I think is a 50.

    Good Luck!!
  • Just out of curiosity, do you know what he is asking for it?

Not much of the dash left. No motor to speak of. Someone just set a v8 in the compartment. Did not notice tranny. I guess it is worth something. the bumpers are there. I was to meet the guy, but no show,so I did not want to pick around his place. Did not want to meet the junk yard dog,so I did not find out what he wanted for it. Front windows gone. Maybe a parts car. It was a Commodore 8 when it started out. Lots of Rust! Early stepdown. Good luck guys!!
