How To? Install Radio in 52 Hornet

I am trying to assemble the interior parts for my 52 Hudson Hornet, to make it more pleasurable to drive in. Re-upholstery, interior paint, and such will have to wait for winter. As part of this effort I want to put the radio in, but I have a problem. Like the rest of the interior, I did not take it out, so I am not exactly sure how to put it back in. I have looked closely and been unable to find any mounts for the radio. I do have a mystery plate in my parts pile that I believe may be the mount, but I can not see where the mount would mount. As you can see in the pictures, I have an aftermarket heater, and the radio has been converted from 6V to 12V.

    there should be 2 nuts and lockwashers that go on control knobs after radio is inserted in place and a bracket( not one shown) that attaches to back or side of radio to secure the back of unit as far as i no.may have a spare

    Unless I am mistaken the extra bracket is part of a center mount bracket for a outside sunvisor. At least thats what it looks like to me.

    The picture of the bracket is the part that goes in the middle of the outside sun visor. It goes between to 2 halves and the slots is were the 2 pieces that clamp to the center strip adapter clamp to this bracket to adjust the visor. Walt.

    Also a thin strip of rubber a quarter inch wide and long enough fit in the radio opening goes on under the control head to stop vibration where the radio rests on the instrument panel

    Some scrap will do or electrical tape on bottom of radio.
