Front Shocks?
I need to replace the front shocks on the 41 C6 Sedan and was told I could use a 53-62 Chevy vett shock. Is this true? I want to make sure I'm installing the proper ones. Right now when we hit any bump we bottom out. Can anyone direct me to someone who makes the proper coil springs. I think one coil is suppose to have more resistance then the other. Thanks.

There may have been a glitch in that info. My reference says '49-'54 Chev except Corvette. Also '52-'56 Ford front. As of 2005 a good NAPA/Monroe number was 5751; also Gabriel 82028, Monroe 31176.0

NAPA/Monroe 5751 is a good number and fits '49-'54 Chev and '53-'62 Corvette. Also '49-'56 Fords.0
