That ought to get Big Bill spinning in his grave - given the fact that NASCAR doesn't say much about those early, whiskey soaked days. LOL Got to keep this a "family oriented" sport don't you know!!!

What you got, in that article, is a peek at the "good-ole-days" racing when just about anything went. I'm sure there's a rule in the book, now, about identity switching - get caught today would probably be, oh, a $100,000 fine and loss of 150 or so points. hehehehehehe

But all that aside good to see an article about one of the "other" Hudson drivers. There were more than just Tim Flock, Herb Thomas and Marshall Teague. During it's heyday in the early 50's, around '52, it seemed at times that half the field was driving Hudsons - and showing up not only in the winners circle but 1, 2, 3, and so on. Have to look that up - see if there were any races where more than half the top 10 were Hudson.

    Gotta love it.

Miller's "Total Domination" has it all. Well worth the $39.

Clearly a 51 Hornet although the 52's were out sincer last fall. Notice the original side mirror.
