Oh that's horrible news. I bought a lot of Hudson parts from Ken and Kay. I never met him personally, but enjoyed talking to him on the phone. He will be missed.
  • He helped me out a lot when I first got my '37 Terraplane, before he got out ot the parts biz. RIP.

My sympathies go out to Kay and the family. Like others we lost in the last year at least he got to enjoy the 50th National in Michigan.
  • I met Ken and Kay years ago when I began collecting parts for my 42 and several times since. The last time was at the Pigeon Forge meet. They typified the fine type of folks the Hudson club and hobby is comprised of.

Ken will be missed by many and my heart goes out to Kay and his family.

This is a shock!! The Siboles send their heartfelt condolences to Kay and to all of his family. I met Ken at Madison Wisc, at the national a few years back. I bought a 51 Commodore from him. What a great guy, and Kay as well. I bought so many parts from Ken, and he always made time to talk with me.The Hudson club has lost a wonderful man!! We shall all miss you buddy!! Went to his place for some parts once, and he took me on the grand tour of his Hudson holdings. He was still in business then. What a great time we spent together!!

  • My sympathies to Kay & the family. Ken was a good Hudson man and a friend. I just love the Hudson sign I bought from him & I'll think of him everytime I light it up. May he rest in peace.
  • This just breaks all of our hearts. Ken was a wonderful man - a great Hudson person and a most honorable person. We here in the Pittsburgh region always hold a special place in our hearts for Ken & Kay - and we will never forget all the help they gave us during the 2004 National in Pittsburgh.

My family sends its heartfelt sympathy and love to all the Amman family.

Rest well, dear friend - your journey is over. Till we meet again...

My condolences to all who knew Ken. I bought many parts from him in years past, but didn't really know him all that well. It was nice to see him at the recent Central Regionals in Rockford. He will be greatly missed by the Hudson world.

I probably bought one of the last sets of front stepdown floorpans that Ken had several years back. They were a pefect fit and came complete with all the clips!

He was a real pleasure to talk to, and do business with.

You could tell he had a real love for Hudsons.

My condolences to his family and friends.
  • Wow, what a loss. I too purchased my share of parts from Ken including his reproduction stepdown floor pans. Let's all be grateful he was one who went through the trouble to stockpile the Hudson parts that now or will help keep our HET vehicles on the road for many years to come.

Angie, your Grandpa was indeed a gem ... a great friend and a good, reliable and honest business man. He was greatly respected by all of us in the club. And I must say, Grandma ain't bad, either ...a another gem!

@Angie: I never met Ken, but from what I read, and what I see, not only he did something good with Hudsons, he was also able to be the best grandfather there was. And it seems he already has super grandkids! He must be very proud of you, as you are of him. God bless you all! Michel
