I'm having trouble connecting to the forum from my home PC and in talking to a friend yesterday he has the same issue. We're both in the UK and when I try to access the forum I get this page displayed:

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.10 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.10 OpenSSL/0.9.8i DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.classiccar.com Port 80
Any clues as to what might be causing this?
Logging on from work (as I am now) it works just fine
Thanks,
Paul

I will second the comment on this experience. I am traveling and this has occurred on several hotel computers using IE and Safari. My laptop experienced the problem over the weekend but appears to be working ok at this time. I attempted log ins several times and chalked the problem up to capacity of the " free wireless network" . I actually do not know what was causing the problems.0

No problems here, either with Apple Safari (v4.03) or IE (v7.0.5730.13).
Look to the upper left on classiccar.com, click on Home, then click 'Contact Us'. Put all the info into the inquiry, and try to include the browser and version that you are running.[/quote]
I've done this so will wait and see what comes back. As I said I have no issues from my work laptop accessing the site. Talking to a friend over the weekend he mentioned he had the same issue so I thought I'd bring it up.0 -

Hi Jan,
No response back from them yet but as soon as I hear I'll post something.

BUMP
I tried logging in from home last night using Google Chrome and had no problems SO just for fun I then tried again using IE and it connected ... there would appear to have been something changed somewhere that has caused IE8 to stop being a pain.
I can now actually log on again from home0 -
Just logged onto the site using Firefox, IE (not sure if I've got IE 7 or 8) and a creaky old out of date Netscape that I keep around for Netscape Composer which I use in scanning manuals, etc.
Anyway worked fine on all three.

I had the same message just recently, I think right after I got home from National- but the next day it was fine.0

Me and 3 other members from europe had the same problem for over one year, but since a couple of days it works fine again. I hope it keeps this way, i missed this forum extremely during the time and I'm very glad that I can reach it again...0
