New windshield gasket install help??

I am about to install the windshields in my 52 using K-Gap's gasket and could use a little advice. It comes in 2 pieces and the original was one moulded piece. Anyone have pictures of how they installed theirs, or advice. Should I try to bond the smaller piece to the bigger one? It would be nice if it didn't leak after I install................
Thanks
Don
p.s. The next project is installing the rear windows (Hollywood) so if you have any hot tips on that too, let me know

Cut the ends of the 2 pieces at a 45 Deg angle at the bottom center of the windshield. Put around the glass, trim and install the windshield with the rubber from the inside of the car.
Use 'Sealall' to seal the whole thing. Comes in a tube at your hardware store for your calk gun. Goes on white and dries transluscent.

As I recall..when my parents did their hollywood it was a 3 person operation to put the back glass in. That'd be good for a national tech session !!!0
