woodgrain color codes
A while back, there was a discussion about woodgrain in the 48-49 models. The base paint color codes were posted by Dennis in NY(?). I can't seem to find that info. I think he sold his red convert and I haven't seen any posts from him in a long time. Don't recall his screen name.

I found the answer.. Russ Maas posted it on a thread about Nicks 48 convert. Dupont Chromabase YS311K for the maple and YS254K for the walnut.
I would have deleted my first post, but didn't find the option..0 -

His forum name was DennisinNY (I think), Dennis Cusack. He did indeed sell his convertible and no longer posts here on the forum. I believe it was his only Hudson, although he has many other makes of cars.0 -
Seems like a labor of love to do a convert... Then sell it? Bummer..
I have only sold one 49 convert. Will never do that aagin.. Of course I need to have another one to have the oportunity..0 -
Does anybody have an idea what the color code would be for the blue base for the
"woodgrain" on a '51?0
