OK, I am having some problems here. This is my third try... The painting process went well. Mother Nature helped a lot... The white went on Monday, Tuesday came the red. Wednesday was touchup and clearcoat. Here are the photo's (how do I post more than one photo?)

The new paints are a new experience. The one drawback is that it is much harder to match paints. About the only way is to take in a chip and have it matched. The EPA is really makeing it hard.

Also, after you read a post or start a post how do you get back to the menue?

    Looks good, Brownie!

To get back to the main menu, the easy way, click on "Hudson" at the top of the thread.

As far as I know, from what others have said, you can't load more than one picture per post, but I haven't tried it yet.

Very nice. Love that color combination.
  • I Love the RED,but have never been a fan of two tones as radically as far apart as the red and white. THAT having been said I do love the colors on the car. I DO wish here was some kind of break line that goes past the front tire to the grill. and could bring the white around to the front. But that is just my personal preference. The truth is the car is going to be beautiful either way. You have done a fantastic job in a very short time. KUDOS to You and any Help You had.

Thanks for all the kind words. No help on this one--it is a "restoration of a driver on a shoe-string budget" type project so I have been doing all the stuff myself. (Other than a bad section of chrome on the grill). Retirement is great--gives one the time and confidence to play all day long in the shop...
