I checked the website- appears to be a very nice car, frame looks very solid, would make a nice driver with a little spiffin' up.

Emailed the outfit- guy named Brian called me back within a half hour, seems pretty squared away. He's going to check to see if engine and VIN #s match (its twin H- so wondered if maybe a Hornet engine- but by the looks of the rest of the car, I'd bet Twin H 262).

Its going on Ebay in a week or so- reserve "under $9,000"- seller would probably deal in the meantime.

Runs, with "very old gas"- Would be worth looking at, for someone in the market.

Not mine, or anyone's I know, by the way. . .
  • This car will take a lot of work, from the pictures. Car has rust in a few places in the frame area. The rear axle is from the early year step downs, not a DANA that came in late 52's to 54's. With time and money though it can be made into a very good traveling Hudson. Walt.

I like this car, and I like the detailed, warts-and-all photo presentation. Wish I could consider buying it...

I can't see the gusset along the lower edge of the drivers side that a 308 would have, so it is probably a 262. It also has '55-'56 air cleaners.
  • Looks like a good one, would have me clicking the buy it now at under $9,000. (OPPS I already did that one) but it looks as good if not better than mine.
    Cheers Mike.

I had asked the seller to check the engine number against the VIN of the car- he called back and said the numbers matched, so it is a 262 with Twin H.
