Can someone post info on a replacement muffler to fit a 48 Commodore 8 please as mine needs help lol

    Try your local muffler shop. They can probably fix you up. Seems like one off a 60 - 62 full size Ford is a close match.

    NAPA has one that's a perfect fit for all '48-'51. The one I got has the number 196048 stamped into the case.

    You might tryWaldronexhaust.com. I bought a complete system for my 51 Pacemaker and it fit like a glove. His shipping is somewhat slow but he duplicates the original very well. Richie

    That's who I bought my last one from , as you say it fit like a glove. And when you are going through holes in the frame fit is critical,
