Laughlin-from 80 Degrees Into a Snow Storm

Got home today about four in the afternoon. Have to say that this was one of the best Laughlin meets that we have had. The team (I will not out all of you to protect you) that set it up did a fantastic job. I can not count the number of folks that I spoke with that I knew from the Forum. Sure makes you feal at home when you know so many folks...

Took a bunch of photo's but I'll only share a few so everyone else can add one or two of their favorites. Here are mine: Two were taken at sunrise, one of Jason's truck and convertible (and my car--go figure) and the last on of a BAD ASS ENGINE (can I say that?)

 Thanks Brownie for posting these photos, if you have more please post them. See you at the Western Reg. meet in April. Great talking to you and seeing your '50 Comm.

It was nice to finally put a face to a forum name, Brownie, and having a chance to talk with you. Your car looked very good.

In picture #l the sun was rising over the hood of my 52 Hornet I bought a few weeks ago.

Jon Cronk, in his newly restored white 51 Hornet, and I caravaned together from Burbank to Baker at 75 MPH before the start of the Laughlin Economy Run.

At the end of the 152 mile long ecomomy run, Jon averaged 21+ MPG and I averaged 19 MPG. I was hoping for 16 OR 17 MPG. Jon's car is stick with o/d, mine is hydro. That was fun and my first run in a Hudson.

Walt Mordenti brought an electric 6V fuel pump for me in case I may need one in the future and I picked up new engine and tranny mounts from K-Gap and a good starter solenoid from Perry Spring. Not much swapping this year.

I hope you post more pictures Brownie. It was a great meet.

Great pictures and stories guys. With a little adjusting here and there maybe I can make it some year.
