:S I finally put my '49 Hudson Commodore inside my shop in hopes of putting it back on the road. Of course it needs a lot as it has been sitting outside for over fifeteen years. The woodgraining on the dash and side panels is in bad shape due in part to the wearher. I would like to redoe the wood grain but need to know if there is a book or video on how to do it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Arnie in Nevada.

    I've seen some really bad amatuer jobs. Unless you really think you can make it look good you may want to consider having done professionally, especially on a Commodore that has two colors. There is a company out there (I don't remember the name)that dips your pieces in the style and color you desire. I think Russ Chilton knows the company. They do beautiful work for less than the old school technique.
