Good luck getting your purchase from K-Gap Duncan, hope you do better than our guys here in Australia, we can't even get a responce from them.!!!0

Guys, I live relatively close but I don't know exactly where they live. I can tell you that every time I've ordered something from them I've gotten it. I don't think K-Gap is a full time job for them, they do it on the side of regular jobs. I wonder if maybe the delay in getting parts might be them waiting for their suppliers getting the parts to them to ship. I don't know that for sure but I know their can't be too many people making our parts out there. I'm not making excuses for them but I don't think as a business they go out of their way to piss people off.

Harry Hill,
I don't think that a bit of communication from them is too much to ask, they have got the money for the goods in question, PLEASE give us the courtesy of a return email, then we may know what is going on with supplies, they DO NOT reply to emails and will not return phone calls.0 -
Huddy 42, I agree that communication would be better than what they are doing. I don't know if I can be of any help but I will try, it may take me a few days with my work schedule but I'll see if I can contact them and try to help you guys out. I don't know these folks but I've heard they really are good people trying to make a go of this business.

That would be great Harry if you could help as we are bashing our heads against the wall Down Under over this.
We are looking for parts owed in the names of Keith Cubbin and David Monkton both of Sydney, these guys have paid for their goods and we would really appreciate any help we can get, once again many thanks.

Les, I will see if I can get them on the phone. I can tell you that every time I have ordered from them they have gotten the parts I needed right to me. I think they are good people and will fill your orders.

It is very good & neighborly of you to do this.
I've been reading the posts on this for quite some time - they go both ways, as if folks were talking about two separate and distinct companies. Very confusing.
Possibly what is needed is some type of third party advocate (mediator), for those who are having consumer complaints to go to...[/quote]
We sort of tried the third party approach - the last time this subject came up I sent an email to K-gap and got a very nice reply that addressed many of the problems. This email I posted here on the forum.
Apparently my efforts did not completely solve the problem, nor did I really expect that to happen. But that email did address many of the problemsl they are having.

It's very mysterious to me that there is so much variability in KGap's response to orders/requests. I have always had a good relationship with them and although they get orders a little mixed up from time to time I've always gotten what I requested and I've never had to pay up front. I always check and verify the order once received and send a check for the total amount. When I've received the wrong item, I've always returned it with an explanation. I always call, usually around late afternoon, PST, and usually someone picks up.0
