35 terraplane

The only dimension that is equal is the wheelbase. Otherwise there are similarities, but definitely no way you could easily use a '35 chassis with a 39 body, or vice-versa. The engine mounts are in the same relative position, but the '39 chassis is much wider.0

thanks geoff i have the 35 chassis and a lot of the mechanicals but it's in thousands of bits so i reckon i could put them side by side and use some of the parts, i presume the engine and box will go in without to much trouble.

There are minor issues with the engines. From memory the ears on the front plates may be opposite way round where they sit on the chassis brackets. Rear mounts are identical. And of course the exhausts are different, the '38 manifold is a lot wider and comes further forward, and the radiator bottom outlets are on opposite sides. Nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of welding and ingenuity.0
