  • The 2 barrel carter WDG is #2115s and the twin-h is carter 2113s and the carter #968s can also be used. Walt.
  • are the 2113s a 54 only carb for the twin h
  • The brass I.D tag on the carburetors, was stamped brass and had the I.D. number embossed in it. It was triangular in shape and about 3/4" long on any side. It was held on to the carb with one of the mounting screws which held the air horn[top cover] on. In the last 55 to 80 years someone who had it apart either lost it or was too lazy to put it back on. I don't remember if it was Carter or one of the other carb makers also stamped an I.D. number in the base of the carb to I.D. it also. This number was in the mounting flange on the gasket surface. You have to turn the carb up-side -down to see it. The figures were only about 1/8" high so it had to be clean as well.
  • Number stamped on bottom flange is 910, 968s and 2113s can be used on all Twin-H 308 engines, 1951 to 1954. Both carbs are the same except the meter rod is different. Put the 2113s rod in a 968s and it's now a 2113s. Takes the same repair kit. Walt.

    Walt,
Thanks for the WTN article you wrote on the carbs. I have that copied and stapled in my parts book. I probably could find all that info by digging through a stack of manuals.. But you put it all in one place.. Thanks again..Those that don't get the WTN are sure missing out on some great info...
