1929 Hudson or Essex

I'm doing a little searching for a friend who is looking for pictures of the top material, and original 1929's in general.
It looks like old pictures on this site got lost in the transition to the new format. One picture came to mind. A while back someone posted a picture of two coupes side by side. One original, one restored, both the same colors. I think they might of been '29 Essex coupes?
Really he's looking for any and all '29s that might be reasonably stock. Any pictures at all would help.
Thanks.:)

Top....for an open car or a closed car? I know a fellow who put a new fabric insert into the top on his '29 4-door. I'm sure the stuff is still available. As to the convertibles, of course the top canvas is still available.0

When I restored my 1930 Essex I used Cobra Long Grain for the top. This is a closed car. For an open car you want something like Cobra Short Grain if you want black. Other materials and other colors are available. One source is http://macsautoparts.com0
