This is the tool you need. There are other bands available. Search the internet for "Wheel Hub Puller".

Here is a cheaper one from J. C. Whitney, but you have to supply your own dogbone.

Here is a puller my Dad made many years ago, suits both Hudson/Rambler and other cars as well. Guaranteed never to break.0

Whatever kind of puller you use, be sure to keep the big nut on the axle shaft. Only loosen it up a few turns.
That way, when the drum breaks loose, instead of blasting across the room, it will stop on the nut, and you will not get hurt.0
