262 head torque spec and sequence

What's the head torque an sequence of a 53 262 engine? Please help I just want to tighten them just incase they have loosened.

    7/16-14 Head cap screw specs from the Hudson Shop Service manual are 60-65

    Sequence is from the center outward evenly from side to side and end to end.

    You should buy one from the club store.

  • My way is the way we did it on our Hornet racing engines and never blew a headgasket. Using the Hudson way guys were having headgasket problems. That is all I will say. Walt.
