7/16-14 Head cap screw specs from the Hudson Shop Service manual are 60-65
Sequence is from the center outward evenly from side to side and end to end.

The way Hudson designed to torque heads had a lot of blown headgaskets or leakage on the left side between cylinders 3 and 4. Walt.schillaz wrote:Hope this helps.0 -

My way is the way we did it on our Hornet racing engines and never blew a headgasket. Using the Hudson way guys were having headgasket problems. That is all I will say. Walt.0
