But will they still be around in 24 days when it doesn't arrive? :evil:0 -
I made the big decision and bought one. I figured that for $20 it was about the same price as a lot of hub caps I have on the wall of my shop and if I loose the twenty bucks I can place a printed copy of what it would have been. I do not need a watch but then again you have to take a chance every once and a while...0

I got tired of either breaking or losing semi-expensive watches, so figured the only solution was to just buy "throw-aways". I haven't paid more than 15 bucks for a watch in 20 years- and have gotten very good service from them. Usually replace the band once or twice before the watch quits.
Needless to say, since I quit spending anything on them, nary a one has broke or been lost. Isn't that always the way of it?0 -
My new puppy got ahold of my expensive $20 Casio and chewed the band up, so saw a watch for a buck in the 5 & 10 and bought it.
Battry died as soon as I got home, so put the band on the Casio.
Works for me!
BTW, I bought one of these too.
If a man has a watch he knows what time it is.
If he has more than one, he's never shure.0 -
I just bought one too, :woohoo: couldn't help myself. :P0

Geez,
I bought one too when I seen FREE Shipping & Battery included that did it...
Then later in Ebay I seen the same Seller listed other Hudson Faces on the watches up for Bids, and one went less than $5................ Maybe they will even Run....0 -

The first auction I saw started at $2.99 (+ $20.00 shipping to NZ!!)0 -
My Dad only bought Timex watches. I've had a few expensive watches. They last about 1-2 years and then die. I started buying Casio watches about 30 years ago. They usually cost under $50.00. Most have lasted 5-7 years and then I just buy a new one. The one time I bought a $100.00 Casio I broke it about 2 weeks later. Now I stick with the cheaper ones.
I still have the last two Timex watches my Dad had. I just save them for sentimental reasons.
Have A Merry Christmas everyone.0 -
If you do a search on ebay for "Hudson Watch" you will find some other styles from a seller in Hong Kong!0
-
Just bought one of the ones from Hong Kong. $1.99 plus $13.99 postage, worth a try.
Not much to lose if it doesn't work eh.??0 -
Has anyone recieved their watch yet if you have what do you think of it?
Cheers Spencer.0 -
G'Day Mr Yarrow,
I received my 99cent one in the mail, it looks oK, then what do you expect for the price, would only buy two ice creams in Maccas.
How is everybody up your way, have you heard from the MacGovens in Toowoomba, looks they got hit hard today with the flood going through the centre of town.0 -
All OK for us have spoken to all our members in Toowoomba and they are all OK as well.Just had a call from my sister {Eslyn} who live about 1/2 mile away and they have been told to get out but we can't get out to help them so they will have to rely on neighbours to help.
Cheers Spencer.0 -
Something got lost in translation!
100% on feedback though, everyone must be happy with it.
