Brake Pedal Assembly?

Can't seem to find the info I need. Question: For stepdowns, is the brake pedal assembly the same whether one uses a standard tranny or automatic, with simply the removal of the clutch pedal for an automatic?

    It seems like it's the same pedal except Pacemakers, Wasps, Jets and Power Brakes. 48-54 part #300404. It also seems that the short wheelbase cars with Hydramatic also have a different part #.

    Thank you! Now the next question is, what replaces the clutch pedal arm, if a clutch is not to be employed?

    Don't know for a fact but I would assume that a spacer was used to replace clutch pedal on an automatic. I suppose if you had the whole assembly you could just cut off the clutch pedal at the pivot point, - if you didn't want to make a spacer.

    I had thought of that, but wanted it to be "original". If nothing else comes of it, that's my plan.
