I got my brother to vote. Hudson in the lead by a slim .4%, Looks like we may have a new continder with the Lincoln. It jumped from 5% to 16% since 8pm. We need many more voters. Keep them comming.0

Lincoln just gained another l%
Ford 35.95
Lincoln 17
Hudson 36.360 -
Well, the Ford is flashy but didn't ride or handle like a Hudson, and couldn't out-drag it. (My only drag race) Beat a 51 Ford 3 out of 3 with the 49 Hudson. Had the OD KD switch near the clutch so I could kickdown and clutch at the same time. Used low, low OD and standard 2nd. to beat him.
Furthurmore the Fords were so light on the rear end they wouldn't go in the snow. I clearly remember pushing Sonya's 57 Cv up Oakdale hill with the same 49 Hudson.
I vote for Hudson.0 -
Great story Uncle Josh. If that had made Head Line news back then, there may have been fewer Fords sold and more people visiting the Hudson show rooms.
Added another vote.
Hudson still ahead but Lincoln gained 11% in the last 14 hrs. Hudson lost 5 and Ford lost 4%. We may need more voters to stay in the lead.

Lincolns didn't do so well at NASCAR but they sure know their way around the internet.
More Hudson votes needed.
Lee O'Dell0 -
I keep voting and it doesn't seem to be helping. Maybe I'm a jinx? :pinch:0

Does anybody know the address of the Lincoln board that most of them use (akin to this one for Hudson)? We ought to at least go over there and give them some gas...0

WE TRIED AND CAME CLOSE. BUT LINCOLN CAME OUT ON NO WHERE. ANYWAY IT WAS FUN. I THINK THEY WERE ALL NICE CARS, AND WISH I HAD ANY ONE PARKED NEXT TO MY HUDSON. BUT GUESS WHAT, THERE ARE TWO HUDSONS THIS WEEK TO VOTE FOR.0
-
Vote is over. Lincoln won this round.
BUT VOTE BEGINS ANEW!!!
This time there are 2 HET's in the mix.

It's a trap! Having two cars we love, if we vote for the two, it will split the vote. We will have to make a difficult choice and choose only one. The Essex is already in first place by a large margin. How about getting all behind it? ( Only a suggestion...). Michel.0
-
The Essex IS a beauty but I just voted for what I liked and the Hudson just seemed to speak to me, so I voted for the Hudson. Maybe because it was a closed car, I don't know. It was a difficult choice.

I voted for the Essex - I think my vote was swayed by the fact the '29 doesn't look stock. Not that I'm against street rods - anybody that knows me knows that my attitude is, and always has been, it's the persons car so they can do what they want with it. Another thing it's on the street, not in a salvage yard. My only criterior is that it look original and be done in such manner that it can be restored back to original at a later date.

Me not being a purist is 1 thing, but I can't get my head around the color of the Landau and secondly I love Boat tails0 -
After voting I get a thank you for voting but I do not think it is being counted. After my vote the score never changes. I'll keep voting anyway, maybe one will be accepted this week. Good luck Hudson and Essex. I hope you both beat the Duesenburg.
Lee O'Dell0 -
The Duesy has pulled ahead.:pinch:

:cheer: My vote was counted today, hoorah!
Lee O'Dell0 -
Voted, Can't help but think if only one Hudson in the voting we would be waay out in front. Makes it tough to pick between the two0
-
Essex is only 1/2% behind. Two more days to pull ahead.0
-
My vote for the Essex this morning - Essex and Dusey neck in neck in the back stretch at 33.03% each.
They're coming down to the finish, it's Essex, :woohoo: it's Dusey  - tune in tomorrow and see what's happening.
