I received the following from Ruth Newton of the CIC Chapter. Check out this lads neat little video in the Hagerty contest.

From: THOMAS K KAREN R KNIGHT

Hi, My famiily and I are HET members and my grandfather was in the club for decades.

Recently my son entered a competition called the "Hagerty Youth Reporter" contest.

He was just named a National Finalist in the contest! The video with the most votes will win!

He featured 3 Hudsons in his video submission and I want to let the club know he needs votes!

We would appreciate if you could post this, forward it, or guide it to those that want to see & hear about Hudson's.

Getting some HUDSON member votes along the way would be nice! Here is how you vote for him:

GOTO: http://operationignite.hagerty.com/contests

Click on VOTE NOW, then find the entry titled: "CBT PRODUCTIONS by BRANDEN" and click VOTE.

You can vote once a day for a week until 5/29!

Thanks for you time.

Looks like a 1934/5 Hudson or Terraplane in the background of a couple of shots there.

I just voted. My computor sound quit but it looked like a good presentation.

I voted, and here's a bump to the top. Wonder if we could prevail on the moderator to make this a sticky, to keep it at the top? I think this is a Hudson project we can all get behind.

I went on line to vote this morning and it was alreaady marked, I had voted. What's up? Anyone else experience this? Looks like I can't vote for him today.

    TwinH,

I thought maybe it had something to do with time zone. But you and I are on East and West coasts of the country.

It's a cool piece, and atribute to that young man and his family. I voted as well; I'll bet the vote button is on a 24-hour timer.

    R/ Roger.

I contacted Tabetha Salsbury, Youth Advocacy Coordinator, 1-800-9224050 about the problem. She was not able to determine the problem form my one inquirary. We communicated for a long time leading me through many steps to eliminate the problem. Nothing worked. I understood her to mean that more inquireies may be needed to locate the problem.

If you are having a problem not being able to vote, give her a call. Many more calls to her may help locate the problem to fix.

I asked if she could make the vote for me. She assured me my vote would be counted.

She also told me the computor techs are in a meeting today so it may be tomorrow before the problem is fixed.

Give her a call to let her know yourhaveing the same problem and have your vote counted for today.

The 24-hour timer is posted. Tabetha tried to remove that so voting will be possible any time during the day. But she was not successful.

She wants me to call her tomorrow to let her know if I am able to vote after the 16:15 hour I voted yesterday.

The 24 hr voting span began when I voted not from midnight to midnight. I finally was able to vote yesterday evening. I tried to vote this morning but got the same message that I voted. I must patiently wait until this evening to give Brandon my vote.

    Good luck Branden
