I have not been able to find any good pics, esp of the back seats, to guide my resto of the interior. Here is my problem. I wish to cover the seats in vinyl trim with pleated cloth inserts in a similar pattern to that offered by Hudson. My only back seat pics have the arm rest down, so I cannot see if the arm rest had the vertical pleats as well. My questions are:
Was the arm rest pleated?
How wide is the unpleated vinyl on the rear bench seat and rear seat back? (the pleated cloth plus unpleated vinyl would account for full height of seat back or full depth of rear bench seat)
how wide is the unpleated vinyl on the front bench and seat back?

any pics of such stepdowns with original upholstery utilizing these materials would be greatly appreciated by my upholsterer.

As a benefit to the club, I will ask the upholsterer to make patterns for use by other club members.

    Just a thought, but have you tried contacting people with similar Hudsons to yours, within a reasonable driving distance from your home? If you can find someone with restored or original upholstery, and they're willing, you could take all sorts of measurements and photos of their car and maybe compare some new fabric samples to their original upholstery. You can use your roster to find out if anyone near you has a similar car.

    I have attached pictures of a 53 Hornet interior ... rear seat center armrest is up too!
