Label this Hudson photo!

Recognize the old Hudson dealer/garage? Can you identify the car? Who's the guy leaning up against the car? What year do you think this photo was taken?

This picture is on ebay right now and I couldn't help but share it.

    Interesting!!! The dealership is obviously closed. And was a rural dealership from the looks of the building. The Hudson appears to be a 1950 - there is a dividing strip on the back window, if you look closely. Car has obviously been pretty well stripped - no wheels, no hood, who knows what else has been removed. From the condition (what can be made out) of the body I'd almost say this dealership was somewhere in the northern part of the country - possibly someplace like Pennsylvania, New York. I am surprised by the conditon of the Hudson sign - it appears to be in excellent shape - which gives crecedence to the thought this was a rural dealership. In an area more metropolitan that sign probably would have been stoned to death.

    Don't laugh Super Dave - back in the 1970's the New England Chapter published a photo of the top half (roof, windows, down to the belt line) that was sitting in Larry Wellman's yard - we labled the photo "Larry drives his Hudsons into the ground, and here's proof".

    Looks like a picture of the 1958 HET National (yes I know the club didnt get started until 1959) OK Im here and it was a tough trip were are the rest of you. LOL
