1937 Terraplane - wood framing?

Hello,
Hope someone can help me with this. I am interested in purchasing a 37 Terraplane sedan that is quite a distance away. Can you tell me if this year would have wood body framing. The current owner does not know. What year did Hudson start building all metal cars?

Thanks in advance,

Brian

No. Starting in 1932 with the Essex Terraplanes and in 34 with the Hudsons, there is all steel body framing.
  • THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE. I AM GOING TO RUN WITH THAT!

I hope you're not going to buy this car sight-unseen! Please ask plenty of questions of the seller, and if you have any further questions, come back here. We have plenty of '37 experts.

See if you can find an HET club member in the area where the car is and ask if they'll check it out. If you're not a member of the club, yet, ask here about someone checking it out for you.

  • Thanks to all for the info. I am used to working on GM stuff, so Hudsons are new territory for me.
