AC/ALT Brackets?
"Doc" is scheduled to go into the shop on Sunday for the following work: Pos. ground to Neg. ground, 12V conversion, new wiring throughout, addition of alternator, Vintage Aire Heat/AC, and the addition of an electric fan in front of the condensor to assist the mechanical one. We have acquired all the parts necessary with the exception of the brackets to mount the alternator and the compressor on the driver side of the 308 and the dual pulleys. Mr. Cates has sent me some pics of some brackets that were fabricated for him in the past. Does anyone know of brackets available for sale, or if not, how about detailed dimensions in which I could use to fabricate them ourselves? Also, I have been told in the past that dual pulleys from a '54 would work? Any light ya'll could shed here would be helpful, also.
Thanks-
