Water jackets

Phil Haxby in Victoria wrote a good article earlier this year about restoring the jackets. From memory, you remove the baffle plate and grit blast the jacket to get it back to bare metal then get a chroming shop to copper plate it. You can then solder up the holes or solder patches over holes. Then solder in a new baffle plate. Thought I would share this good idea. An alternative is to get one made out of stainless steel.
In a few weeks I will be placing an order for some more stainless steel water jackets - 6 & 8cyl with top or bottom outlets. I have posted photos before, but here they are again in case anyone is interested. If so pls contact me at HETozhudson@gmail.com. Delete the HET. Regards, Barry

I was told last Sept they would be $180 for a 6cyl and $200 for a 8cyl. Postage is extra. Anyone interested should contact me at ozhudsonatgmail.com Regards, Barry

Barry, can you post a picture of the engine side of the water jacket?
