Around 1976 I lived in Roswell,Georgia, behind the high school lived a gentleman who owned a Hudson Hornet coupe that had been Customised by the Alexander brothers in the 50's, it was Black/silver two tone. I later saw the car in some publication (maybe the white triangle).I know the description is kinda vage but this car was extraordinary. anybody know its wherabouts?

  • I found the pics I was referring to:from Don Butlers' "The History of Hudson".

wondering what became of this car, every time I saw it parked in the driveway where it lived, I swore i would stop in to meet the owner, but never did.
I would love to see it again ,I didnt realize at the time what a significant piece of custom history i was admiring.

If you had the address where the owner lived, you could probably search real estate records to discover his name, then find him or his descendants. All in the comfort of your own home. :cheer:

Go to the AACA website and look for West Peterson (editor of the AACA magazine). He had referenced this car a couple of years ago as if it was for sale and was acting as a contact. He will likely be able to tell you if it's still for sale. And I thought there was a short thread about it on here at that time, too.

This is not the thread I was looking for, but there's a picture here: http://www.classiccar.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=24&id=89359&limit=6&limitstart=6&Itemid=152#89664
